Why I'm unbothered by the word C*NT

#unbothered

Hi Divas,

The other day the word c*nt (apparently it's foul language???), came up in conversation. Since I'm always up for a little salaciousness, I thought I'd write about it!

One of my friends (female) didn't want to say the word because she said she hates to use it.

It was pretty emo. All I remember is it being a black and white picture, a girl with torn fishnet stockings was involved and the word C*NT  written in some sort of dark paint. Obscure but I liked it. All I could think of when I saw this picture was, wow this is an amazing picture. I wish I could make a picture like that. This is soooo cool!

Needless to say mostly because of this picture I am truly unbothered by that word. I'm pretty sure feminists hate the word. I like it, kind of. That doesn't mean I want to be called a c*nt  but it does mean that I won't flip out if someone calls me a c*nt. Matter of fact, I've even referred to myself (my teenage self that is) as such.

Verrückt, ich weiß! Aber man weißt genau wie alles während der Jugendzeit läuft. Although I was sweet as pie, there were certain situations in which I had a tendency to deal with in a mean way..
..Hormones sind total out of control, man bekommt neue Einstellung und Meinung, but most of all....die gefürchtetsten Menses (sorry aber bis heute sind meine Tage schmerzhaft und absolut unbequem)! Throw in the awkwardness of being a teen, with trying to fit in with peers and that definitely can put a strain on your ability to deal with situations. I look back at certain teenage situations and even when I first started dating (19-20 years old) and I can honestly say I was a little  c*nt back then.

Now that I'm a little bit older, I've graduated to what I call "diva moments". LOL! You know, the moments when you're inner authoritarian diva comes out? We're human, I mean can't be on 10 every day all day so I don't expect anyone else to. Just don't be a c*nt about it. ;) .

xoxo,

    1. Yeah the word cunt is definitely not used often. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've heard someone say it AND read it in print. I guess because it's considered so vulgar? Ever since I saw that pic
I thought the word was cool. Hehe

Me and the English language... :)

  7. This is going to sound so wrong and crazy, but for the longest time, when I was younger of course, I always thought that word was a derogatory word only towards white people only, not a derogatory word towards women. In my young mind, I only heard white people at my school using it, so its true meaning was lost to me. So since then I have never really found offense to it.

  8. Lol Bree! I think only a select few understand the meaning and it's magnitude since it's so rarely used.
